About Me Professionally

I received my BS in Clinical Laboratory Science from Oregon Institute of Technology’s combined program with Oregon Health and Science University in 2008. I have been a laboratory professional since then with most of my technical experience in clinical chemistry and toxicology. I’ve had the opportunity advance to leadership positions in a variety of organizations that were union and nonunion, as well as for profit and not for profit. I relocated from Portland Oregon to Seattle Washington to act as the Toxicology Lead Technologist, then to Minneapolis Minnesota for a hospital laboratory supervisor position, and finally moved back to Portland Oregon for a Northwest Region Laboratory Manager.

In 2020 I received my Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University Minnesota.

I am the owner and sole contributor of March For Science MN. March For Science MN is a political but non partisan organization focused on advocating for policy to be formed by scientific consensus and informing the greater public when policy is not in line with the available science.
